The work involved relocations and new wiring for remodeling of the bedrooms, laundry room, family room, porch, dining room and kitchen as follows:
- New code required outlets were installed.
- New weather resistant GFI outlets were installed on the exterior.
- GFI outlets were installed in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry areas.
- New circuits to the panel were installed for new appliances along with code required circuits.
- New LED hi hats were installed.
- AFCI circuit breakers were installed as per code requirements.
- Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms were installed.
- New quiet series bathroom exhaust fans were installed.
- A new 200-amp underground service was installed.
- New 2″ PVC underground sleeves were installed for phone and cable.
- New circuit wiring was installed and raintight disconnects were installed for central air conditioning wiring.
An application for inspection was submitted and a certificate of approval was obtained for the property owner and building department.
