The job involved was upgrading the existing wiring in a kitchen remodeling as follows:
- All new wiring was done in type MC cable as required by code.
- New GFI counter outlets were installed.
- New AFCI protected circuits were installed to the service panel.
- New decora style switches were installed.
- The existing electric range 50-amp outlet and circuit were reconnected for the new range.
- GFCI/AFCI protection was added for the exiting dishwasher and microwave.
- An application for inspection was submitted and a certificate of approval was obtained.
