Our job involved emergency service as a result of fire and water damage:
- Upon arrival, we checked the circuits and wiring.
- We checked the service equipment and grounding system.
- We installed new ground clamps and reconnected the main service ground wire from the panel.
- We disconnected all of the circuits from the circuit breaker panel.
- We reenergized and tested the panel to verify it was safe to supply power to the temporary electric.
- We installed temporary 20-amp GFI protected outlets and circuits for the temporary drying equipment.
- We installed temporary lighting throughout the house.
An application for inspection was submitted and a certificate of approval was obtained for the property owner and building department.
