The work done was rewiring and repair as a result of fire and water damage.
All damaged wiring was removed. New code compliant wiring was installed in the living room, dining room,
kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, sun room and basement.
The work included:
- New decora outlets in all locations required by code.
- New decora switches
- New lighting
- New LED hi hats
- New LED dimmers
- New circuit wiring to appliances
- New wiring to CATV jacks
- New wiring to telephone jacks
- New GFI outlets
- New AFCI circuit breakers
A megger test was done on all wiring in the undamaged areas to ensure safety in the event of concealed damage.
An electrical permit was obtained.
An application for inspection was submitted and a certificate of approval obtained for the property owner and building department.
